Pediatric Rehabilitation Technology Lab

About

The PRT lab examines novel neurorehabilitation environments to train the motor system early in life and promote the development of children with motor disorders. Motor training is designed based on principles from the fields of neuroscience, biomechanics, and development psychology. A critical means to enriching motor training this lab pursues is through the use of assistive technology. Consequently, a major focus of the lab's work is understanding children's physical and social interaction with novel assistive technology so as to gain an insight on the factors that are important for learning when designing pediatric rehabilitation environments.
